Pralayarudrudu in dubbing stage

A Kannada film with Upendra and Jennifer in the lead is being dubbed into Telugu as Pralayarudrudu. K.V. Ramana and T. Nagendra are dubbing the film under the Sri Manjunatha Movie Makers banner. Kota, Jeevi, Sathya Prakash, Ponnambalam and Mansoor Ali Khan play the baddies in the film. The film has been shot at Kurnool and Mantralayam. Upendra once again plays a raw and emotional character in the movie.

Lalitha Arts' film shooting launched

The shooting of a film produced by Pilli Narsimha Yadav under the banner of Lalitha Arts was launched at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad recently. Indraganti is the debut director; Raj is making his debut as hero. Samudra gave the clap, while Dr. A. Dayanand Vijayakumar switched on the camera. Speaking on the occasion, director Indraganti says, Our film is a love and action entertainer. We are planning to give a good message through our film to the youth that they should not mistake attraction for love. They should realise the truth before falling in love. Producer says, We will launch the regular shooting by the end of September. We will complete the shooting of the talkie part in a single schedule which would be shot in Sattupalli and on the banks of Godavari river. Ali, Chitram Sreenu, Uttej, Subhash, Ramana, Rajendra Gupta, Govardhan, Gopika, Kalyani, Madhavi and Vedantam are in the cast. Dialogues are by Brahma, lyrics are by Kandikonda, Jayaraj, Sanskriti Srikanth, cinematography is by Vamsi K. Prakash, music is by Nari Raju, editing is by Menaga Sreenu; story, screenplay and direction are by Indraganti.

Reward for info on pirated CDs

Srinivasa Reddy, director of Yamagola (Malli Modalayyindi), announced a reward for information on pirated CDs of the film. The movie, starring Srikanth, Venu, Kaiakala, Meera Jasmine and Reema Sen in lead roles, is running successfully. The Vijayawada police seized about 1200 pirated CDs recently. Srinivasa Reddy has announced a reward of 10,000 rupees for information about pirated CDs of Yamagola.

Santosham Awards in Sharjah

The annual Santosham Film Awards will be held in Sharjah, Dubai this year. The function will be held on October 26. Some of the top film artists and technicians from Tollywood will take part in the function.
