Gauthama Buddha: Release next month

Posted:

Directed by Allani Sridhar and produced by K. Rajasekhar under the banner of Dharmapatha Creations with Sunil Sharma in the title role, Gauthama Buddha is ready for release in October. Producer Rajasekhar says, Buddha is the one who was born for a specific reason. He moulded non-violence as a weapon to achieve something which is impossible. The life and history of Buddha has a very powerful message. Especially at a time when the country and the State are suffering from extremism and violence, the preaching of non-violence would definitely help the society to realise the need for non-violence. My father, Dr. K. Sivananda Murthy had made a lot of research and prepared a good script. We are making the film simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi, English and Tamil. We are confident that the audiences would definitely welcome such a movie. Madhu Mahankalis camera work and Sasi Preethams music would be added attractions for the film.
